What was once a source of embarrassment for men, how to make the area because of the location and effects of its failure-has now become the thing to watch, talk about, to heal. True, there are still a fair amount of anxiety when it comes to talk to the prostate. But we hope the trend of people who speak about their experiences and getting tested early, will continue.

The prostate is a reproductive exocrine glands. Its purpose is to generate an alkaline fluid to protect sperm when they began their journey eggs. Without well-functioning supply of liquid sperm are much more sensitive to the dangers of the world outside the male body. With such sensitive functions, it is understandable why people have trouble talking about the prostate.

The second reason was the delay in resolving the problem is that the effects of prostate cancer can be painful to the emotional and social way. Inability to create a steady stream of urine, or sometimes any urine at all, is usually reported problem. Also, the development of erectile dysfunction is a widely reported effect of having prostate cancer. For men who are so proud and so base their manhood on these and other related functions that are suddenly not working properly can be a devastating blow to the psyche.

However, all people should be aware of the dangers of prostate cancer. It can develop without causing any problems, or it can grow rapidly, spreading to other regions of the body, which resulted in death or paralysis. It is important that men in the age of 45 regularly for the disease.

This is not usually develops in people who are younger than 45 godina.Prosječna age of diagnosis is 70, many of these people had cancer for years, but due to the slow growth rate never new that is present in their bodies. In fact, some studies have shown that most men older than 75 May to have developed prostate cancer, but died of other causes before they can cause any trouble or even be detected.

Besides age, other key risk factor is family history. If you have a father or brother who was suffering from prostate cancer are much more likely to get the disease themselves. Racial background may play a role too, with Black men have a much higher mortality than others.

Although the cause is unknown, there are some indications that diet is a good way to prevent the onset of the disease. In Japan, where people life is longer than in most other developed countries, men are much less likely to die from prostate cancer. Diets low in red meat and rich in fresh vegetables seems to be a factor in this difference.
