for the layman, the easiest definition of cervical cancer is that cancer of the cervix (the opening of the uterus that is connected to the vagina). This cancer, as well as all other cancers, have different phases. During the initial phase, the cells are transformed into something and this process is known as dysplasia. The formation of abnormal cells in the cervix, and then begin to multiply and spread in the area. This is one of the most common type of cancer that attacks women.

If it is not much harm done, then the doctors to focus on eliminating the area where abnormal growth of cells occurred. This can be done through a series of latest scientific methods, such as laser surgery, loop electrosurgical excision procedure, cone biopsy, and cryosurgery.


If the cancer has grown so much and is invasive, and treatment and its duration depends on the stage when it was discovered. Some options include radiotherapy, chemotherapy and hysterectomy.

-Avoid the HPV infection that does not form any sexual contact with an infected person
-HPV vaccine may offer a prevention of this cancer
-Use a routine PAP test to diagnose it in its earliest (this should be done often after you turn 21 years ).
